The exterior of Florence's cathedral, known as the Duomo, is one of the most beautiful things we have seen on our trip. Not only is the shape of the dome (which we climbed) distinct, but the marble work on the facades is simply gorgeous. It has a pinkish green luminescence and we spent a lot of time just wandering around it and enjoying the details.
