Here is Olivia's take on Ely:
Last weekend we went to Ely. We started out at Ely Cathedral which was absolutely fabulous!! The stain-glass windows were bright, the chorus was practicing, and we saw some of the most interesting tombs ever!! To get to the cathedral, we had to walk down this charming path in the park. There was a great view of the cathedral and we saw ponies in the pasture. Afterwards, we went for lunch in this garden cafe with a cute little building with a huge glass window. Then we went to Oliver Cromwell's house. It was kind of creepy, with moving mannequins and a haunted bedroom. I really needed a coke and some crisps (British potato chips) at the pub after that!
