We spent a spectacular afternoon hiking out of the Wadi Zin in the northern Negev. Part of En Avedat National Park, we started off low in the Wadi, walking along the pools at the bottom of the canyon. We encountered Ibex, a native type of wild goat, both on the bottom and as we climbed up. Our first big climb put us on a plateau high above the pools, and the second stretch took us right up the canyon wall to the rim at the top. It was a really wonderful way to complete our time in the Negev.
